When is QF - JQ change happening on the Seoul route? Have I missed something..?

Absolutely right - platinum membership devalued...getting to Plat 1 virtually impossible for the 'normal' traveller.   

I must be one of the unfortunates to who this doesn't apply - a typical IHG get out by not receiving a specific and targeted communication. As a Platinum Elite and Ambassador I don't seem to be eligible for certain offers, promotions etc...ho hum.

The value for some, including me, will be the Platinum Elite status included in the membership. I'm Spire at the moment, but unlikely to travel enough this year to maintain even Gold. All three comments above have valid points, and its definitely true that non-Intercom hotels pass on benefit that...
